South Bend Community Re-Entry Center

FOCUS: To provide re-entry services to offenders being released throughout Indiana. The Center has both a Work Release Program and Level 1 Program component for offenders with two years or fewer to serve.

ACTIVITIES: Gain real world experience in corrections working directly with adult offenders. Given the SBCRC population, it is more appropriate for juniors, seniors, and graduate students to volunteer here.

HOURS: MON–FRI 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. and 6:00–8:00 p.m.; SAT–SUN 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.

REQUIREMENTS: Other; 18 +; U.S. citizen; background check; TB test
