Grace Hospice

FOCUS: To create hospice care that includes a team of doctors, nurses, social workers, counselors, aides, chaplains, and trained volunteers who work together focusing on the patient’s needs.

ACTIVITIES: Relieve the primary caregivers by helping with household chores, visiting with patients or running errands for them. Also provide administrative assistance to the hospice care team.

HOURS: On call MON–SUN 24 hours; office: MON–FRI 8:00 a.m.– 5:00 p.m. Some evening and weekend hours

REQUIREMENTS: 18 +; U.S. citizen; background check; TB test; commit to one academic year; the availability to spend 2–3 hours a month with a patient
