Research Program Manager
Lindsay Paturalski serves as Research Program Manager for the Notre Dame Programs for Education in Prison (NDPEP). She works with program administrators, faculty, and students to create assessments on prison education that promote equity and excellence for students incarcerated in Indiana.
Lindsay is a first-generation college student who received her undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University and her Ph.D. in history at Boston College. She is interested in how marginalized individuals mobilize themselves against and within dominant institutions and the role social trust plays in people’s actions. With this focus, her areas of academic interest and expertise are wide encompassing public health, imperialism, philanthropy, agriculture, and incarceration.
When not engaging in research, Lindsay likes to read and write fiction—especially fantasy and mystery. She lives in Edwardsburg, MI with her husband and son where she gardens, bakes, and watches too much British television.
