FOCUS: We build safer communities by providing pathways to healing for those in need.
ACTIVITIES: Students may assist with either our Restorative Mediation and Facilitation services or our transitional and Recovery Coaching. Students might observe pre-mediation intake meetings and mediation meetings between victims and offenders or community members and assist with case management, assist with program training and evaluation tools, assist with projects related to re-entry and coaching work, write grants, analyze the dynamics of Restorative Justice through application, assist with marketing and fundraising, or assist in other special projects.
HOURS: MON–FRI 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
REQUIREMENTS: 18 +; background check; Spanish – helpful but not required; transportation to our agency
