Children’s Dispensary, Inc. (A Place To Be Me)

FOCUS: Children’s Dispensary provides a safe and nurturing environment for young people with developmental, physical, and cognitive disabilities where they can enhance their social interactions, learn important life skills, and enjoy new experiences.

ACTIVITIES: Assist children with social and cognitive impairments with various social, educational, and recreational activities. Plan fun and creative activities for the clients.

HOURS: MON, WED 5:00–7:30 p.m.; some Saturdays 10:00 a.m.–noon; MON–THU 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. for office positions; additional dates and times depend on events

REQUIREMENTS: We have a variety of volunteer opportunities, from office assistance to marketing to on-site work with our clients. Tell us your strengths and interest, and we will find a good fit for you. Small groups can be accommodated most days. Larger groups are needed.
