Previous Capstone Projects
The Special Studies Capstone gives students the opportunity to complete special studies with one of the minor’s affiliated faculty. Each student produces and presents a product (manuscript, work or art, composition, poster board display of research results, etc.) to the members of the PSIM at a special colloquium held in the spring semester of each academic year.
Capstone Spotlight: Pre-Medical Student Loan Repayment Resource
The Poverty Studies Interdisciplinary Minor Senior Capstone group project for AY 2013-14 had the goal to increase the flow of Notre Dame premed-graduates into medically underserved areas in the United States. Toward that end, they created a web site providing information for our premed students about loan repayment for service programs.
